Mini Pigs and Major Tantrums?

"Mini Pig Tantrum"

rawwrrrrr

Don’t let the size of this mini pig fool you because I can get very loud.

So loud that it’s sometimes embarrassing. Lucky unlucky for my caretaker this hog has a good head on his miniature shoulders and doesn’t get embarrassed.

Fun fact, pigs can scream at 115 decimals. The decimal of a jet engine is 113.

I love being a little extraordinarily loud alarm clock for my mom. She says I sound like a walker from The Walking Dead. I vehemently disagree.

I’m blaming it on the terrible two’s because this mini pig has been throwing some MAJOR tantrums lately. I figure that with toddlerdom/turning three years old just around the corner I better milk my age for all it’s worth.

Hi Huckleberry – nice to meet you. You’re one cute piggy! The fact that you can scream as loud as a jet engine is insane! lol

    Youch, that’s loud!

Yes, us piggys can be quite ferocious when we want to. Don’t worry though, I try to keep it at a dull roll most of the time :)

Pleased to hear that dear boy!

Hi there, just popped over from Cocco’s blog and so pleased to see the piggy group expanding like this. Wow, I never realised you could squeal louder than a jet engine. That’d wake anyone up :)

Wonderful to meet you!! We are filled with glee that we’ve found other piggys!

Hey, H.! Cocco sent us to say hi! You’re cute. I am a dog, and I am very quiet – except when I have to warn Mom that the mailman is trying to break into the house and kill me.

    Love and licks,
    Cupcake

    • PigandtheCity March 21, 2013 at 9:15 am #

Why in the world is the mailman trying to kill you Cupcake? LOVE your name btw (and cupcakes too except mom won’t let me eat them so I have to sneak them in). I’m so little that sometimes I think people forget about me so make noise so they know I’m still there :).

Ugh, we feel you on that! Cocco still screams so loudly. EEEEE….

    Piggy kisses,
Katie and Coccolino the mini pig

Happy to hear we aren’t alone in this! Sometimes I think they scream just because they know they can. The volume and frequency has decreased with age so that’s a plus :)

    Hi H. Finn
Mom and I hopped over from Cocco’s to say Meow/Hi and welcome you to Blogville.
I am Madi, I recently became the first feline, female mayor of Blogville. Frankie the mini Doxie was first Mayor and remains my mentor.
    Hugs and Squeal on Madi

Thank you oh so much for the very warm welcome. Blogville has been so wonderful that I’ve been oinking at Mom why we didn’t start this years ago. That’s so cool you have a mentor and are a mayor! I’m trying to become a mascot. Oinks and Kisses,
      Huckleberry Finn

My friend Cocco told me you were here so I thought I would drop by with a howdy! Hey, nothing wrong with shouting it out!

    • PigandtheCity March 21, 2013 at 9:22 am #

Hello to you good sir!! That’s what I keep telling my Mom but she says at 4 a.m. no one should be shouting unless they are in danger.

Hi there – just popped over from Coccolino’s blog! You are cute – but you sound very loud! Lol – I think maybe your humans need ear plugs! ;)

    • PigandtheCity March 21, 2013 at 2:04 pm #

Hi friend!! What I lack in size I make up for in volume :) My humans do have earplugs but I don’t enjoy it when they wear them so I hide them all over the house.

    Hello Huck Finn,
We meet again. Love the fun factoid about the pigs decimal level. Looking forward to your stories and adventures. purrs, licks, and squeals

Hoorayy!!! I’m excited to share them. Oinks and Kisses, Huckleberry Finn
